Finished drilling the gear stiffener F08-11 and riveted it onto the gear attach angle. Riveted and bolted the gear attach assembly into the fuselage. The gear stiffener is located under the main spar and will be riveted to the spar when the spar gets installed.
Bent the 120 degree taps on the glareshield attach strap F04-03. Fitted it to the glareshield and firewall and up drilled the rivet holes.
Smoothed the edges of the windshield bow D02-03 and trial fitted it to the fuselage.
A few weeks back I tried to fit the tri-gear mounting bracket to the motor mount. I couldn't get the holes between the gear mount and motor mount to line up. After some emails with Sonex, I sent the gear mount back for them to evaluate. Yesterday I had an email from Sonex tech that the tri-gear mount I'd send back did indeed have a problem. They are sending a replacement at no charge under warranty.
